2nd Maternity & Children Expo @ Mid Valley Megamall
Tertunai hajat untuk melawati dan bershopping di Maternity & Children Expo yang diadakan pada 18-20 November 2011 yang lalu. Awal pagi dah bergerak ke sana. Sampai di Mid Valley lebih kurang jam 10.30 pagi.
Tak tahu pun tapak expo di mana, tapi ingat-ingat lupa rasanya di aras atas sekali. Sebab selalunya expo diadakan di situ. Macam expo hartanah & perumahan yang saya datang 4 tahun lepas. Manalah nak ingat, dah lama tak pegi Mid Valley. Betul jangkaan saya, tapak expo yang sama. Dekat dengan panggung wayang dan food court.
Sebab sampai awal pagi, walaupun ramai pengunjung, tapi masih boleh berjalan dengan aman.
Bila je waktu tengahari, terus jalan sesak. Ramai sangat orang. Nak shopping pun berpeluh-peluh. Maklumlah, badan dah membesar.
Pintu masuk utama expo, dipenuhi belon2.
Mama & Fina sebelum masuk ke tapak expo. Bila dah penat tunggu mama shopping, Fina duduk dengan Baba je kat depan pentas. Ada kerusi untuk pengunjung yang melihat acara yang berlangsung di pentas.
Gerai SaraKids yang sempat saya kunjungi. Banyak barangan penyusuan yang boleh diperolehi dengan harga discount. Saya beli Jingle Jungle Bottle and Baby Food Warmer, botol susu 3pcs dan bra pads. Dapat less 20% daripada harga asal. Memang berbaloi.
Boleh gunakan untuk persediaan BF 2nd baby nanti.
Seterusnya saya ke Gerai MumDreams. Jumpa apa yang dicari. Bengkung moden dengan harga RM25. Harga asal RM30. Beli juga pilis dan tapel. Ada less 10%.
Ada beberapa gerai juga yang saya temui. Sekadar tengok-tengok sahaja. Juga terdapat gerai Lunatots untuk cloth diapers dan barangan penyusuan lain. Selebihnya sekadar lalu sahaja. Ramai sangat orang, sampai susah nak bergerak.
Lepas pegi hall expo pertama, saya ke hall kedua pula. Terus tuju ke gerai Pureen. Cari barangan baby. Beli beberapa pasang baju untuk baby. Rata-rata harga nya dari RM10-RM15 sepasang. Sarung tangan & sarung kaki 1 set RM4.00. Selebihnya saya beli mandian, towel, nappy liners, wet tissue dan barangan keperluan yang lain.
Dah habis shopping barang baby dan barang mama. Tak boleh nak mencuci mata lagi. Kesian pula ada yang bosan menunggu. Kalau ikutkan hati, memang tak puas berjalan lagi. Tapi, memandangkan keadaan yang tidak larat dan sebelum Fina mengamuk, saya hentikan aktiviti bershopping setelah jumpa apa yang dicari.
Terus ke food court bersebelahan.Masa untuk makan.
Lepas tu jam 1 lebih, balik ke rumah.
Eh, lupa pula, untuk Fina pun mama belikan juga.

Baju gaun
Next time, kalau ada expo ini, sure saya akan pergi. Memang tempat yang sesuai untuk mencari barangan keperluan untuk ibu bapa dan bakal ibu bapa. Cuma seeloknya sediakan list barangan yang diperlukan sebelum berkunjung bagi mengelakkan tak tahu nak shopping apa bila sampai ke tapak expo. Dan yang paling menarik, semua harga yang ditawarkan adalah berpatutan dan menjimatkan.
